RACE EVEN IN FLORIDA

According to current results from the Florida Secretary of States office, the presidential race is dead even, 49.6 to 49.6, but Obama leads McCain in Orange County 259,939 to 175,141.  Obama is also ahead in Seminole County but by a narrower margin, 71,924 to 64,852.  As these are two of the most conservative countys in the state this does not bode well for McCain, so far.

DO NOT BELIEVE ABC, NBC, OR CBS FOR NOW

The networks have called Pensylvania for Obama.  I am on the Secretary of State's website for that state and 0 percent of votes have been counted.  They are making projections based on exit polls only.  This is far from over.  Hang in.

LATEST FROM VIRGINIA BASED ON ACTUAL VOTES

From the secretary of states office, Virginia.  With 16 percent of the vote in McCain is leading 55 percent (226,282) to Obam's 43 percent (179,851). This is still very early so don't get too excited.  This is based on 409 precincts out of 2,496 reporting.  It's going to be a long night.

AS PREDICTED, MEDIA STILL TRYING TO DEPRESS VOTES

The media is still trying to depress conservatives who may be trying to vote. They are making projections based on early votes and exit polls.  Believe nothing, nothing until 11:00 at least.  If your polls are still open, VOTE!

SHOCK

According to ABC the percentage of blacks voting in this election is 13 percent, only one point higher than 04.  So much for the pundits.
Vote, Vote now, The polls are still open till seven.  As long as you are in line by seven they have to let you vote.

MEDIA STARTING ALREADY, IGNORE THEM

Screaming headlines have already started based on EXIT POLLS. Exit polls favor Democrats as they participate in them dispraportionately to Republicans. This is what the media used to call the election for Kerry in 04. EXIT POLLS MEAN NOTHING. IGNORE, IGNORE , IGNORE.

VOTE NOW!

HERE WE GO AGAIN

NBC has an electoral map on it's site that indicates voting in Florida ends in three hours. This, in spite of the fact that polls in the northwest part of the state don't close until 8:00 PM eastern standard time. Look for them and other media outlets to pull what they did in 2000 and call the state early. To anyone reading this post in the panhandle, ignore everything you hear. Your votes are critical to preserving our democracy.

OBAMA'S CIVILIAN SQUAD? VOTER INTIMIDATION? A SIGN OF WHAT IS TO COME

Two members of the Black Panther party, one brandishing a night stick, were caught trying to intimidate voters in a Philadelphia precinct. According to an eye witness who later called police, he was told by a poll watcher inside the voting station not to go back outside "because a black man was going to win this election no matter what." The police arrived and escorted the man carrying the night stick off the property but other panthers remain near the front of the polling station. Is this a precursor to Obama's proposed civilian defense initiative? Across Philadelphia there have been other reports of intimidation including one of Republican poll watchers being forced to leave precincts that in 04 had instances of voter fraud. As I said last week, if the Obama people can't win this election, they will steal it. Let no one stop you from exercising your right to vote.

SEE NO EVIL, HEAR NO EVIL

Many including myself have warned you of the media's desire to suppress the vote for John McCain.  That is true now, more than ever.  The press brought the vote to a screeching halt in 2000 with their report that Gore had won, hours before the polls closed in many parts of the nation.  They tried something similar in 04 with reports that Kerry had won based on exit polling.  The media knows that many are on to them and that they can't use the exit poll tactic again this year, so, they will be using a new tool, actual votes.  The media will make projections based on votes cast in the last week along with absentee ballots and will try to portray this as data coming from ballots cast today.  I can't stress this enough, IGNORE, IGNORE, IGNORE, everything you hear or see on the radio, television, or the net.  None of it matters.  When all polls across the nation are closed and data based on actual returns from ballots cast TODAY are being reported, then you can pay attention.  Until then, let nothing deter you from voting, nothing.

A CALL TO CONSERVATIVES

Predictions of John McCain's demise have been premature.  Polls in battleground states taken yesterday show him in striking distance, even in Pennsylvania, once a Democratic stronghold.  The number of undecided voters is large enough to put McCain well over the finish line if they break for him, as many have suggested they will.  The course of our nations ship of state will take a hard turn left unless those who have been sitting on the sidelines act now.  This is a call to action to all conservatives.  Do your patriotic duty.  Put aside your differences with Senator McCain.  Standing in long lines one day is a small price to pay compared to the price our country will pay if Barack Obama is allowed to take the reigns of power. The continuation of our democracy stands on the point of a knife.  It is up to you. Will the republic stand, or be dashed against the rocks?  The fate of the nation is in your hands.  Vote.

AN HISTORIC CHOICE

On the eve of the election an historic choice stands before us. Will we elect the first school teacher to the Vice Presidency, or the first drug dealer to the oval office? School teachers are nurturing figures. They help us learn about the world, broaden our horizons and guide us in making choices for ourselves, now, and for the future. The good ones appeal to our better angels. They teach us to respect ourselves and each other. Drug dealers are parasites. They prey on the weak. They destroy lives. Drug dealers typically have charming personalities. You have to be charming when you're selling poison. The candidate of the Democratic party was a drug dealer. He learned then what he still knows, if you are charming and slick you can sell anything to anyone. That is what Barack Obama is trying to do in the current election. Rather than unite us, as promised, he has set us against each other with lies and deception. He offers to protect the have nots from the haves on the premise that the former have been victims of the latter. That those who choose to work, pay their taxes and play by the rules are responsible for the condition of those who won't.  He makes promises that anyone with even a modicum of common sense knows he can't and won't keep. When he does get caught in a lie, he tells an even bigger one to cover his tracks. According to Mr. Obama, he had no idea his former pastor preached the politics of division and hate, in spite of the fact that he sat in the pews for twenty years. Over and over he claims to have been taken out of context, even when audio and video recordings prove the opposite. The latest instance was his interview for the San Francisco Chronicle in which he states his desire to destroy the coal industry which he admits would cause the cost of energy to sky rocket.  He says we must lower our standard of living because we are a greedy people without concern for the world.  He shows no love for his country and sees all that is bad and nothing that is good.

He hates achievers. He wants to punish and change the nation that leads the world in individual achievement. Only in the collective lies salvation, according to him. Yet he, is an elitist, who shows nothing but disdain for those he claims to champion. He mocks the middle class, the plumbers, the coal workers, the school moms, the people who do the heavy lifting for the rest of us. The ones who sacrifice their lives willingly in the cause of freedom.  At his core he believes the American people are ignorant rubes who will swallow whole anything he chooses to tell them.  That is what his experience in the drug trade has taught him. Rather than poisoning individuals, he now wishes to poison a nation, if given the chance. Do not give him that chance. Recognze him for who and what he is.  Stand up and reject him. Exorcise your god given right to do so, while you still have it. Vote.

HOPE WITHOUT ACTION IS JUST ANOTHER FOUR LETTER WORD

I commented on another bloggers site this evening who pondered how McCain could win in view of the staggering odds and polls against
him.  He ended by saying "we can only hope." I replied, "How can McCain win? It's simple, ignore the polls and vote. I went on to say that "Hope without action is just another four letter word". We can hope to be healthier, wealthier and wiser, but unless we take corresponding actions towards our goals, hoping is pointless. I have gone on at length along with others in the conservative blogosphere, about media bias and skewered polls. Both are unquestionably true. The pollsters and pundits have done their level best to convince the American people that the election is a fait accompli. It isn't. Until the last ballot is cast and tallied, nothing is set in stone. I'd like to say vote early and often but then I would be no better than those we fight against. Remember, CBS and NBC called the election in Florida in 2000 for Al Gore long before the polls closed in the northern part of the state.  The result was, many who were going to vote stayed home or left the poll lines they were standing in. Look for similar actions this November 4th. Ignore the media, ignore the polls and exercise the right so many of our countrymen have paid for with their blood, vote.

OBAMA PLANS TO DESTROY COAL INDUSTRY

In a nine month old interview that had not been made public until two days before the election, Barack Obama's plans to destroy the future of the coal industry have been revealed.  Speaking to the San Francisco Chronicle on January 17th of this year, Obama said the following, "If somebody wants to build a coal power plant they can, it's just that it will bankrupt them because they are going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that's being emitted." This was in reference to Obama's proposal for extreme cap and trade measures which penalize companies that output carbon.  Here is his explanation, "I was the first to call for a 100 percent auction on the cap and trade system, which means that every unit of carbon or greenhouse gases emitted would be charged to the polluter, That will create a market in which whatever technologies are out there that are being presented, whatever power plants that are being built, that they would have to meet the rigors of that market and the ratcheted down caps that are being placed, imposed every year."

Coal is responsible for 57 percent of the electricity generated in this country.  Were a President Obama to implement such a program with the aide of his conterparts in the Democratically controlled House and Senate, the cost to the average consumer would be astronomical.  This would affect the poor and middle classes more than any other.  The same groups Obama says he wishes to protect.  With a friend like this, those on the lower socio-economic scale certainly don't need any enemies.  Another reason in the already long list that Barack Obama must be defeated this Tuesday. VOTE!
