PAT CADDELL AND I AGREE

In an interview on Sean Hannity's radio program today, Pat Caddell, former Democratic pollster for George McGovern and Jimmy Carter said and I am paraphrasing as closely as I can, I am very upset with the media. There are no limits on the 1st amendment. There is a reason for that. The founding fathers wanted the media to be free of politics so they could protect our democracy. But when I see the main stream media abandoning that principal, and becoming imbedded with one political campaign, telling people who they should vote for, then they have become a threat to the democracy they were supposed to protect. That is almost to a T what I said in my article, "How the Media betrayed a nation.” in reference to Michael Malone’s article published a week ago today, "This is critical reading for any who wish to understand how this nation could be sold out so easily by those who were charged with the task of defending it by the founding fathers themselves in the first amendment to the constitution." Caddell went on to say that the only purpose for re-introducing the "Fairness Doctrine" is to shut down talk radio and the Democrat’s critics on the right and, he continued "I consider that a very dangerous thing, very dangerous." If Pat Caddell can see what's going on why can't the rest of America?

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS, LYING OR HE CAN'T READ

George Stephanopoulos stated today in his blog, "George's Bottom Line", that the number of undecided voters is small.  This in spite of AP's poll showing one in 7 voters have yet to make up their mind.  One in 7, that is 14% of the entire electorate and that is considered a small number?  There are lies, damn lies and fiction.  Georgie and his buddies in the left wing media have engaged in all three.  Get ready, the closer we get to election day the more these heirs of Joseph Goebbles are going to try to do to suppress the conservative vote.  Don't believe anything they say for a minute.

GIVE THE GOVERNMENT YOUR MONEY OR YOUR SELFISH

This gets better by the minute.  Now if you don't agree with giving, better yet, allowing the government to take more your HARD EARNED money, you're selfish according to Barck Hussein Obama.  That's what he said.  So if you're working and trying to better yourself and aren't willing to GIVE your money to those who aren't, those who already pay no income tax, you are selfish.  This guy has an aunt living in the slums of Boston and he's not spent a penny of his money to help her and he calls us selfish?  Obama gets the award of the year for, running, jumping or standing gall.  Here is the link to the article: http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/10/obamas-new-atta.html

STRONG ARM TACTICS USED IN DEMOCRATIC PRIMARIES

There is a valuble source of information out there, it is called HillBuzz.  This is made up of a group of women who supported Mrs. Clinton during the Democratic primaries.  I dismissed this group of women in the past as being sore losers.  Based on what I'm learning now they have a right to be sore.  The video says more than I can.

I promised you that I would share the results of this with you today. I am keeping that promise. There are no results, no one wrote in. So either no one who reads this blog feels that way or if they do they don't want to admit it. That's fine, it was worth the effort to try.

OBAMA'S GREAT VANISHING TAX CUT PART 2

In my post from October 28th I mentioned that Barack Obama's tax cut had been adjusted down from 250,000 to 150,000.  That number has just dropped again.  In an interview today with radio station KOA, New Mexico governor Bill Richardson said the following " What Obama wants to do is he is looking at those making less than 120,000 dollars who are in the middle class and giving them a tax cut."

TRADING ONE HUSSEIN FOR ANOTHER?

In march of 2003 the United States went to war to oust Saddam Hussein and free the people of Iraq from a vicious Tyrant. Why then do the American people seem so eager to put his intellectual counterpart in power in this country. We have already had an inkling of how Barack Hussein would govern if handed the reigns of power. Mr. Obama has gone to great lengths to send a message to the “Joe the plumbers” of this country, “step out of line and I will destroy you”. Further evidence of this comes from the fact that if elected, Barack Hussein Obama will appoint as his chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, famous for using Stalin like tactics to keep members of his own party in line. Never in our history has the torch of liberty been in such danger of being snuffed out. Abraham Lincoln sounded this waning more than a century ago, “If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide". Now is the time to reject soundly this would be Tyrant who has sprung up among us and save the “Cradle of Liberty”. WE CAN'T TAKE THE HEAT SO GET OUT OF OUR KITCHEN

Barack Obama has jettisoned, literally, newspapers that have endorsed John McCain from Bare Force 1 during the final days of a campaign that still shows signs of tightening.  While this is not an unheard of practice given that the McCain camp exiled left leaning columnist Maureen Dowd from their inner circle, in the past this has involved individual journalists, not entire news organizations.  Obama spokesman Bill Burton says they are making room for the Washington Times, Dallas Morning News, and NY Post "on the campaign bus where possible and that they were encouraged to travel with Senator Joe Biden" aka "Hiden Biden" who is doing his best to speak to no one.  The Washington Times is read in Northern Virginia a state that in spite of the polls the Obama camp must fear is still in Play.  This behavior is not surprising in view of the way Obama and his surrogates in the Democratic Party have treated anyone who does not fawn over "The One", 24/7 or dares to challenge him.  This is further evidence that if elected Barack Hussein Obama, will do his level best to silence critics anyway he can.  As mentioned in my post from earlier today, his counterparts in Congress have already started by using the FCC to punish those they considered favorable to the war and the Bush adminsitration.  To re-iterate, the election is not over yet, so to borrow a line from our friend "Smokey", please vote, Only you can stop Barack Obama.   Here are the links to the articles   :http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/1008/Off_the_plane.html?showall, http://www.drudgereport.com/flashopp.htm

THE LEFT IS MAKING A CONCERTED EFFORT TO SABOTAGE THE TOWNHALL BLOG

Also I must report repeated problems with logging in, staying logged in, problems with the clipboard function and the list goes on.  I ask those who oversee this site to investigate this situation immediately and futher to remove from Townhall these blogs that are clogging up the space of those who take their valuble time to legitimately communicate with others.  This must stop now.  Whomever is behind this be it freelance leftists or members of the Obama campaign or it's surogates must be stopped, caught, and brough to justice.

For months I’ve been stressing the dangers of censorship under a potential Obama administration coupled with heavy Democratic majorities in both the House and Senate. Five days before the general election it has already begun. Bolstered by what the Dems see as their inevitable victory they have begun to use the FCC to silence potential critics and those they perceive as having supported the Bush administration. “The FCC has sent letters to some of the nation's most prominent military analysts -- some of them pro-President Bush and pro-war -- suggesting they may have broken the law when they appeared on television stations to comment on and explain the war on terrorism.” As I stated in my post yesterday “Barack Obama, If Elected I will change history”, “If Obama is elected, with the help of the Democrats in the House and Senate and some turn coat Republicans the "Fairness Doctrine" will be re-introduced and talk radio and the voices of dissent will be a thing of the past.” The article in Human Events echoes what I and others have been warning against,“Democrats have more in store to try to muzzle conservatives. They talk of reactivating the so-called Fairness Doctrine in which federal government bureaucrats monitor radio and TV programs and rule on their fairness. Conservatives say the real goal is to kill right-leaning talk radio.” This is no joke ladies and gentlemen. They aren’t waiting until and if the reigns of power are handed to them. THE HORROR THAT WON'T GO AWAY

Halloween is at hand, it is a time for pretend frights, for ghosts and goblins all to gather, jump out, and say Boo. Then it is over, back on the shelf for another year. Coinciding with this pretend eve of horrors, is another festival of horrors, of course what is being spoken of here is the national election. Unfortunately if the Democratic nominee is the victor, this horror won’t be packed away and put on a shelf, it will be here to stay for at least four years. The latest Zogby poll shows stagnation, no movement towards McCain or Obama. The race for the moment according to Mr. Zogbys numbers is at a standstill, holding at 50.1 for Obama and 43.1 for Senator McCain. There is one glimmer of hope in this poll for those who don’t wish to see our government take the socialist path that much of Europe has begun to shed, there is a slight up tick in the number of undecideds, up 6.8 from 6.5 yesterday. Why would this be considered hopeful? It is a sign that there are still people in this country who have not bought into the Obama hype and that is saying something considering the money and time he put into his half hour infomercial last night. Thirty three million people watched. Based on the numbers in this poll, taken after the “event”, it would appear that Barack Obama still hasn't closed the deal and that was his last best shot. It’s not over yet folks. You still have a chance to save America from the horror that won’t go away.

NO SIGHTINGS, OBAMA STILL "HIDEN BIDEN"

From FNN Obama is apperntly still afaid of his running mate sticking both of his feet in the Presidential candidates mouth.  Fox reports Karen Tumulty, Time Magazine national political correspondent was told that poor old Joe had a cold and this made interviews difficult.  This in spite of the fact that he had made mutilple public appearances.  Here is the full transcript: "Average Joe: Time Magazine writes that one of the few things that could derail the Barack Obama campaign is his running mate, so it says the campaign is "hidin' Biden."Karen Tumulty compares traveling with Joe Biden to "reporting on a politician packaged in shrink-wrap" and that he is "leashed to a teleprompter even when he is talking in a high school gym that is three-quarters empty."Tumulty says the campaign is so cautious that when she requested an interview, a spokesman said Biden was suffering from a cold that made interviews difficult.Tumulty added, "I didn't glean evidence of any symptoms during the four speeches that I watched him give over two days."
Palin effect?  Yeah right!

FIRST CHINA, NOW AUSTRALIA, CAN THE U.S. BE FAR BEHIND?

As many of you know China allowed the introduction of the internet for economic purposes but now censors it heavily to stop dissent. Australia is now going down that same slippery slope. From an article in the Australian Herald Sun, "AUSTRALIA will join China in implementing mandatory censoring of the internet under plans put forward by the Federal Government. The government has declared it will not let internet users opt out of the proposed national internet filter." How did this begin? "The plan was first created as a way to combat child pornography and adult content, but could be extended to include controversial websites on euthanasia or anorexia." Why is this being done now? "Because some governments fear the potential of the internet, (and) want to control it". What is it that Senator Obama resents? Criticism and dissent. Is it too much of a stretch to imagine him as president introducing such a measure for the purposes of protecting children, and then once that is established extending it to protect the nation from radicals and extremists who abuse the internet and threaten the security of the nation? Translated, the security of his administration. Not to me it isn't and it shouldn’t be to anyone reading this either. Joe the plumber has been investigated by the left leaning Democrats in the state of Ohio just because he opened his mouth to Barack Obama. Further the government in power in Australia now is liberal, not conservative. That should send up red flags, (pun intended) to everyone in this audience. How many times have you heard someone on the left make the comment that Rush Limbaugh should have no right to speak? I can't count that high. It is the left not the right that embraces censorship in this country. For this very reason, the concept of an Obama presidency is not only frightening, it's chilling.

ZOGBY RESULTS 1 IN 5 CONSERVATIVES LEANING OBAMA

According to the latest Zogby Poll, one in five conservative voters are leaning towards Barack Obama. There are two ways to look at this, one, these people are lying to the pollster, or two, something has gone radically wrong, pun intended, with those in the conservative movement. With people like Christopher Buckley, son of William F, jumping ship and going over to the Obama campaign it does raise the question, WHY? I can speculate, some are angered by John McCain’s past behavior, some are angered by his recent actions regarding the bailout, those are the two that jump immediately to mind. Other than that I honestly don't know. How can anyone who identifies themselves as conservative support the most liberal candidate put on a national ticket since George McGovern? Someone who openly advocates redistribution of wealth, universal single payer healthcare, and silencing critics with Nazi like tactics, how? Well, I want to know. I have set up a new e-mail address just for this purpose. Any of you reading this who identify yourseleves as conservative and have either voted for Barack Obama or are planning to vote for Barack Obama, please e-mail   torchlight08@gmail.com. Only true conservatives please, no abusive e-mails and give as much information about yourself as you are comfortable with, for example: age, sex, geographic location, party affiliation, who you've voted for in the past, rough income bracket ie 10 to 20, 30 to 50 or 50 and above, and why you have either voted for Barack Obama or are planning to.  All information including e-mail addresses will be kept confidential and you will not be contacted by myself or anyone else. I will report all results on this blog tomorrow morning.
